So you want to try your first crit? Or you want to work on the different skills that make up crit racing? You currently do crits but just seem to be following everyone around for the whole race? Want to learn new skills and techniques that will have you feeling more confident and safe? Want to improve your results?
Then this session is perfect for you! There are many individual skills and strategies that make up criterium racing. Improving these skills will leave you feel more confident, safe and able to be more involved during the race.
For this session we will break down the elements and stages of a crit race. Look at individual skills that you will need to race more effectively and be a safer rider.
We will look at basic rules, what lines to take, where to position yourself in the bunch, how to read other riders. Practice skills such as cornering, attacking, accelerating, holding a wheel, chasing an attack, rolling off the front, and sprinting.
Each rider will walk away with new skills and techniques to work on, as well as individual feedback. The session will run for approximately 3 hours. And the group size will be small.
Book now to reserve your spot. We will send out further details and a questionnaire to find out more about what level of rider you are closer to the date.
Looking forward to a fun session!
